Dirty Rotten Scoundrels
|
DICKY |
DUBYA |
KENNY |
|
Big Time high
roller in the Texas oil business; made $40 million working for
Haliburton. Met secretly with Ken Lay 6 times and then crafted
our national energy policy, a boondoggle for his energy company
buddies.
 |
Dubya never
met a fast buck swindle he didn't like. Swindled his partners
in the Texas Rangers... swindled stockholders in Arbusto... took
millions from Enron, his biggest campaign contributor.
Impeachment is too good for him.
 |
Ken Lay
personally profited to the tune of $millions through shady business
deals and misuse of his corporate power. He's lucky he doesn't
live in China; he would have been summarily executed for the stunts
he claims he knows nothing about.

The Cronies
| Jeff Skilling |
|
 |
Conveniently forgot
everything he ever knew about Enron business deals when confronted
by people seeking the truth. Refused to testify about critical
events. He sold over $60 million in stock when it still had
value.
|
| Andrew Fastlow |
|
 |
Considered by many to be
a business "genius". Too bad his "genius" ideas were illegal
and caused the company to fold. Of course, ol' Andy came out
smelling like a rose when Enron came down and crushed most of its
employees' futures.

The Henchmen
THE INDUSTRY DREAM TEAM: "Not since the rise of
the railroads more than a century ago has a single industry [energy]
placed so many foot soldiers at the top of a new
administration."
Newsweek,
5/14/01
| Spencer Abraham |
|
 |
Energy Secretary Abraham
was a one term Senator from Michigan famous for opposing stricter
fuel efficiency for cars. He received $700,000 in donations
from the auto industry in his failed bid for re-election, the most
of any senator.
Spencer met with AT LEAST
39 captains of the energy industry and ZERO
environmentalists.
During his one term as
senator from Michigan Abraham fought to limit fuel-efficiency
requirements for SUVs, limit renewable energy research, abolish the
federal gasoline tax and open up ANWR to oil drilling. While this
won him a zero rating from the League of Conservation Voters, it
also scored him close to $450,000 in contributions from energy and
natural resources industries in his failed re-election bid.
|
| Gale Ann Norton |
|
 |
Interior Secretary Norton
previously represented mining and other anti-environmental
causes. She received $800,000 from the energy industry when
she ran for US Senate in Colorado.
She is committed to
opening up the Alaskan wildlife refuge to Big Oil.

| Lawrence
Lindsey |
|
 |
Dubya's economic advisor
was a paid consultant to Enron last year, earning $50,000 to tell
them about the gas business.
|
| John Ashcroft |
|
 |
Attorney General John
Ashcroft has had to recuse himself from the Enron case because of
his acceptance of campaign donations.
|
| Condoleezza
Rice |
|
|
National Security Advisor
Rice served 10 years on the Chevron board, which gave $758,588 to
GOPER candidates and committees in the 1999-2000 election
cycle.
They even named an oil
tanker after her. |
| Andrew Card |
|
 |
White House Chief of Staff
Card was General Motors top lobbyist for more than a year after
serving as CEO of the American Automobile Manufacturers
Association. While at AAMA, Card lobbied against stricter fuel
emission standards.
Brad Card, Andy's brother,
is a paid lobbyist for Clean Power which is funded by 4 energy
companies (and used to be funded by Enron when they still had
funds. He arranged a meeting with Dicky Cheney's secret task
force to discuss trashing environmental rules in favor of pollution
"credits".
|
| Marc Racicot |
|
 |
Former Chairman of the Republican National Committee was a paid
consultant to Enron at the same time
he was RNC chair. |
| George H. W. Bush |
|
|
Dubya's Poppy took $114,000
in campaign contributions from Enron which makes them one of his top
contributers.
Oh... and Enron likes to party, too. They kicked in
$200,000 for the 2000 White House Inaugural Ball. I doubt
Poppy would have paid for it himself, there's always someone out
there in need of a favor with big bucks and smal
morals. |
| Karl Rove |
|
 |
Rove is the consummate
GOPERNAZI with ties going back to Dick Nixon. He was a "dirty
tricks" stooge for Nixon and even committed theft in that
capacity. Rove and Enron are thick as thieves; he alledgedly
obtained a job with Enron for Ralph Reed to keep him off the GWB
payroll.
Rove conferred on by phone
with Kenny-Boy about energy policy and the appointment of an Enron
toady to a position with the Federal Energy Regulatory
Commission.
|
| Don Evans |
|
 |
US Commerce Secretary
Evans is a recipient of Enron campaign donations. He met with
Enron in October during the energy crisis in California.
Lay tried to call in a
favor with Evans to see if he would try to influence Enron's credit
rating with Standard & Poor's.
Thanks for saying NO,
Don.
|
| Thomas White |
|
 |
Secretary of the Army
Thomas White was formerly vice-president of Enron. He was head
of Enron Energy Services which is believed to have concocted the
California energy crisis. He also is alleged to have
cooked the books at Enron to inflate profits and cheat
investors.
White was
forced out of office in 2003, but not before he had dozens
of contacts with Enron insiders and sold off $100 million of Enron
stock - while it was still worth something.

Ken Lay Frog-Marched Into Halls Of
Justice
Enron ex-chairman
Kenneth Lay has pleaded "not guilty" to 11 criminal charges over the
collapse of the former US energy giant.
The charges against longtime Bush Family friend
"Kenny Boy" include bank fraud, share trading fraud and making false
statements. "Kenny Boy" is dubya's pet name for Ken Lay, who is 4 years
his senior. Apparently Kenny is dubya's "boy" in a different sense
of the word.
As you have read in the profiles above, Ken Lay,
with the help of the Bush Banditos, has reached deeply into the US
government to influence and corrupt decisions being made that have played
a factor in leading our country into war in the Middle East.
Prosecutors led Lay to court in handcuffs after he
kept an agreement to turn himself in to the FBI in Houston. Every stinking
con man should have an opportunity to walk into court in a $500
suit.
Bail was set at $500,000 by Judge Mary Milloy
who rejected a request from prosecutors to post bail at $6
million on the grounds that Kenny Lay is a
flight risk.
Insider Trading Charges
In a separate action, the Securities and Exchange
Commission charged Lay with securities fraud and insider trading,
seeking to recover $90 million in unlawful proceeds from stock sales.
"Kenneth Lay is charged with abusing his powerful
position....and repeatedly lying in an effort to cover up the financial
collapse that caused devastating harm to millions of Americans," said US
Assistant Attorney General Christopher Wray during a press briefing at the
Justice Department.
Kenneth Lay and other senior Enron officials "engaged
in a wide-ranging scheme to deceive the investing public," the government
charged.
If you have any questions about the impact of Lay's,
Skillings' , and Fastow's shennanigans on the company, please feel
free to take a drive to Houston and ask any former Enron employee who lost
their job and fortunes to these common thieves.
Enron and its executives were
the largest single campaign contributer to dubya's 2000 campaign, giving
over half a million dollars.
